2025 update on Almost Eh Farm hatching eggs and chicken offerings

Hello, wonderful friends and fellow chicken lovers!
First off, a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your incredible interest in our chickens and hatching eggs! Whether you've been following us for a while or are new to our little corner of the world, we are beyond grateful for the enthusiasm, support, and connection we've experienced with all of you. It's been such a joy to share our love for all things poultry, and we are so thankful for your excitement about our birds.
After much thought and consideration, we've made a big decision for the upcoming year, and we wanted to keep you all in the loop. Due to busy family schedules and the various responsibilities that life throws our way, we've decided that we won't be offering large-scale sales of our chickens or hatching eggs in 2025. It's not been an easy decision for us, as we so enjoy sharing our birds with others as they build their family flocks, but it's the best choice for us right now. While we won't have the time for custom sales and waiting lists this year, we will still offer some chicken hatching eggs via online auctions and occasional chicks locally. We'll post when those are available. Meanwhile, our birds are not complaining and are enjoying a laid-back winter!
But don't worry—we're not disappearing! We expect to be back up and running full tilt in 2026, and we can't wait to reconnect then with another exciting selection of quality offerings. In the meantime, we'll keep in touch with helpful tips, tricks, and insights gathered over the last 20+ years of poultry keeping. From hatching advice, predator control, and our favourite breeds to tips on chicken care (and everything in between,) we hope our newly launched "Almost Eh Blog" can still help support you in your chicken-keeping journey.
Again, thank you for understanding and for being part of our Almost Eh Farm community. Your support means so much to us, and we're excited to connect with you as we follow each other in our poultry-keeping adventures - sharing new opportunities, new birds, and plenty of chicken-related wisdom!
